What we did
The Baker’s Oven in Sunderland Town Centre has been a go to destination after a Pub Crawl or Night Clubbing since the early 80’s. We were asked in for a meeting because the owner Dianne ‘wanted some new shelves.’
After discussing her requirements we came up with a proposal for the shelves and a wish list of other items that she may want to consider.
Most of our clients lead busy lives and are stuck in the bubble, running their businesses and juggling family life. So we find that they can only see things that are obvious to them, like broken shelves. However, “they don’t know what they don’t know” and we feel it’s our job to let them know what they could have.
After taking some reference photographs and measurements of the retail space, we came up with a proposal, visuals and costings for each area we felt we could help with.
Dianne was delighted that there were other things she could work on to help improve the presentation of her business and also the customer flow and staff working areas.
Note: We made the ‘steel girders’ on the shop front in our workshop out of wood (Tricoya Medite).
