What we did
Following on from the fit out of the Infinite Air Trampoline Centre we undertook in Durham, we were asked to create designs and a feature counter for the new Lickety Split Ice Cream Parlour on the same site.
The idea for the counter was to create something that would stay in your mind when you saw it. So rather than just a glass fronted counter to display the ice creams, we developed an idea of having the counter top and front made out of Corian. We manufacture worktops in our work shop and use Corian when we are looking to create something a little different.
Our vision was to have a vanilla and chocolate ice cream melting down the front of the counter. It was one of the more complicated projects we have undertaken but the results were well worth the effort.
CDUK, the sole suppliers of Corian posted our project images on their social media and had more hits than any other project they had shown.
